To
secure the safety for our passengers, Kumamoto
Airport implements stricter security measures
including shoe inspections by order of the authorities.
The Security screening may become lengthy so
that the passengers are advised to check-in
and go through the security screening in good
time. Also, please be aware that the sulfur
sold in Aso area, in any form possible, is not
allowed to be taken on board in your carry-on
luggage or checked in with your baggage.
New restrictions regarding liquids taken into
the aircraft cabin on international flights
departing from Japan was introduced on March
1 2007. Please be aware of the restrictions.

Animals are prohibited inside the
passenger terminal building except when entering the premises with
assistance dogs for the disabled (stipulated in Article 2 Paragraph
1, Law on Assistance Dogs for Persons with Physical Disabilities)
or dogs recognized to have equal ability, and animals to be checked
in on flights. We display the posters explaining the prohibition
of animals around the doorways and ask for your cooperation in adhering
